TON 14,5
tradition + technology
TON is czech company producing chairs for several decades. One of their the most traditional products is chair called 14.
Corian is a specific material created by DuPont scientists in 1967. Today it is very often used for bent and curved shaped furniture.
The similar materials processing inspired me to create chair 14,5. Completely different materials with different history, but technologies of both are so close together! Chair 14 is icon of bentwood furniture and that is why I chose to redesign exactly this product.
